Twenty Tigers killed in sea battle -SLN

Sri Lanka Navy (SLN) said at least 20 Liberation Tigers are believed to have been killed when it's patrol crafts engaged a LTTE flotilla and destroyed four boats in the seas off Kokkilai in the north-east of the island this morning.
Four SLN Dvora Fast Attack Crafts (FACs) were damaged and four sailors were wounded in the ensuing clashes navy sources said.
SLN sources said that it's patrol boats had observed the LTTE flotilla speeding from Mullaithivu in the direction of Trincomalee around 1 a.m. and had engaged them.
They said that a fierce mid sea battle had raged for nearly four hours.
