The two youths were identified by their relatives today, as Albert Alwin Nesam (52) of Parappukadanthan and Santhan Francis (23) of Kumananayakkarkulam in Mannar district.

The relatives told the Police at the inquest that the two, who were displaced, had returned to check their houses and collect a few essential things for their displaced family members, and had subsequently gone missing.
