Norwegian Foreign Minister to visit Sri Lanka

The delayed visit of the Norwegian Foreign Minister to Sri Lanka is expected to take place during the weekend political sources said.
Norwegian Foreign Minister Knut Vollebaek, who earlier planned a two day visit was expected on January 16. His visit to Colombo on January 16 was called off due to Sri Lanka's Foreign Minister Lakshman Kadirgamar being away in Europe.
During his visit to Colombo Vollebaek is expected to meet President Chandrika Kumaratunga, Opposition Leader Ranil Wickremasinghe and leaders of other political parties the sources said.
