Grenade attack at Kandy UNP office

Two grenades were flung at the UNP's Kandy office in the early hours of the morning today around 2.40 a.m. The explosions shattered the glass of the building and destroyed a phone booth nearby. No one was injured.

No one was injured. The grenades had been lobbed at the United National Party office on D.S Senanayake Road in Kandy town from a vehicle that had sped past. No one has been arrested in connection with the incident said sources in Kandy.
