SIHRN meeting to be held in Killinochchi

The meeting of the Sub Committee on Immediate Humanitanarian Rehabilitation Needs (SIHRN) scheduled to be held in Trincomalee on Thursday and Friday has been shifted to Killinochchi. The meeting of SIHRN will be held at the Killinochchi secretariat on the due dates, said Mr.M. Selvin Irenuess, Director of the SIHRN Wednesday.

Mr. Selvin cited practical difficulties for shifting the SIHRN meeting from Killinochchi to Trincomalee.

Mr.Bernard Gunatilake, Secretary General of the Peace Secretariat will lead the government delegation. LTTE delegation will be led by its political head Mr.S.P.Thamilselvan, sources said.

Norwegian ambassador in Sri Lanka Mr.Jon Westborg will preside the SHIRN meeting, sources said.
