U.S. Consular officials to visit Jaffna

Consular officials of the American Embassy in Colombo will be visiting Jaffna on Monday, 20 September to provide opportunity for U.S. citizens residing in Jaffna to meet the officials, a press release from the U.S. Embassy said.

Full text of the press release follows:

"As part of the U.S. Embassy's outreach efforts to American citizens residing in Sri Lanka consular officials will be visiting Jaffna on the 20th and 21st of September. The purpose of the visitis to meet Sri Lankan government officials and to provide resident Americans with the opportunity to meet Consul Marc H. Williams.

All U.S. citizens in the Jaffna area are invited for tea at the "Yaal Paady Residency" in Nallur on the 21st at 2 p.m. Americans must present their passports to gain admission."
