SLA officers arrested over medicine theft Four Sri Lankan army officers were arrested and remanded by the military Police for smuggling out and selling two million rupees worth of medicines from the Military hospital in Colombo. The Sri Lankan military police are conducting further investigations and three more officers might soon be arrested. Army informant shot dead A youth identified as Raja formerly a member of the LTTE who surrendered to the Sri Lankan military in Vavuniya and was working as a full time army informant in the area, was shot dead this afternoon. His body was found by the army in Vairavapuliyankulam on the outskirts of the vavuniya town near the Mannar road.
