TNA, LTTE leadership to meet Tuesday

Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) has invited the parliamentarians of the Tamil National Alliance (TNA) for a meeting at the LTTE's political head quarters in Kilinochchi Tuesday 10am, political sources in Vanni said.

Issues related to urrent political situation and the hurdles confronting the negotiating parties in the peace talks are expected to be the focus of the discussions, sources added.

Invitations to the meeting have been each of the Parliamentarians separately, according to sources.

When the president of TNA V. Anandasangaree was asked if the was planning to attend the meeting, he replied, "The last two occasions when TNA members met the LTTE leaders in Kilinochchi I was away from the island. This time I am planning to attend this important meeting."
