

Around 50 people, most of them children, were invited to Mahinda Rajapaksa's Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) office in Jaffna and promised livelihood assistance to their education. They were given placards and asked to stage a protest in front of the bus-stand in Jaffna. Some of the placards were written in broken Tamil exposing SL military intelligence background.
