Three Tigers killed

The Voice of Tigers (VoT) said in its night broadcast today that the Liberation Tigers attacked a group of SLA soldiers traveling in a tractor between Nayinamadu and Mathiyamadu, about seven kilometers northeast of the Puliyankulam junction this morning around 10.45 a.m.
The Tigers had exploded a claymore mine in the attack. The radio said further details were not available. The VoT said that one Liberation Tiger, Illakkiyan (Sellaiah Sasikaran, Jaffna) was killed in a clash with Sri Lankan soldiers in the Mankulam area. In another confrontation with the SLA last night at Olumadu, two Tigers, 2nd Lt. Methini (Muththaiah Mathiyarasi, Mulliawalai in Mullaithivu) and Eelaval (Sangarapillai Sathiyavani, Vavuniya) were also killed, the VoT said.
