"Viduthalai" released in Trincomalee

Viduthalai" (Liberation), a compilation of articles written by Liberation Tigers theoretician and political strategist, Mr.Anton Balasingham, on politics and other related subjects which were earlier serialized in "Velichcham" magazine was introduced to Trincomalee audience Sunday evening at an event held at theTrincomalee Town Hall. Hindu and Christian priests attended the event, sources said.

The LTTE's Trincomalee district political head, Mr.S.Elilan, presided. At the commencement, Mr.Sivakumar of LTTE Trincomalee town political office hoisted the Tamil Eelam National Flag. The mother of a LTTE martyr lit the flame of sacrifice.

Ms.Kaaronja, LTTE Trincomalee district women wing political head delivered the welcome address. Mr. A.Yatheendra made the introductory address.

Mr.Umainesan, head of the Thamileelam National Resurgence Forum handed over the first copy of " Viduthalai" to Mr.R.Sampanthan, Trincomalee district parliamentarian and a special copy to another Trincomalee district parliamentarian Mr.K.Thurairatnasingham. Thereafter Mr.Thurairatnesingham and Mr.Iynkaran of LTTE Trincomalee district office handed over copies of Viduthalai to guests specially invited for this event, sources said.

Poet Puthuvai Ratnathurai, head of the LTTE Arts and Cultural Division made the release address. Parliamentarian Mr.R.Sampanthan also spoke.

Attorney-at-Law Mr.K.Sivapalan, Trincomalee Koneswara Hindu College Principal Mr.S.Thandauthapani and Dr.Rajadurai Tharmarajah made addresses of appreciation of "Viduthalai".
