East campus convocation to be held in June

Convocation for the graduates from the class of 2003 of the Eastern Campus which was postponed several times during 2003 will have their convocation on 5th June, local media reports said.

President of the University Grants Commission, Professor Mendis will preside the event.

Organizing committee under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Ravindranath are making arrangements for the event to be held in Vipulananda Music and Dance School auditorium, according to campus sources.

A total of 314 graduates of the Eastern University will receive their degrees conferred on them during the event.
