Pre-school opened in Nedunkerni

A pre-school constructed by the Nedunkerny Development Rehabilitation Organization (NDRO) with the financial assistance provided by the Siththi Vinayagar Kovil Society in Kerning, Denmark and sponsored by the Tamil Rehabilitation Organization and Pre-school Development Organization was declared open Wednesday morning.

Mr.Paramanathan, TROís Australian representative and Mr.E.Jegas of TRO lit the traditional oil lamp.

Mr. Gnanavel, Vavuniya district political head of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) hoisted the Thamileelam national flag. TROís Vavuniya district assistant director Mr.Thasan hoisted the TRO flag. Mr. Wijekumar, Co-ordinator of the Vavuniya Development Rehabilitation Organization (VDRO) hoisted the VDRO flag. Ms Tharsini, co-ordinator hoisted the Pre-School Development Centre flag. Ms Krishanthy hoisted the pre-school flag.

Vavuniya district LTTE women wing head Ms Alai lit the flame of sacrifice to the photograph of Lt.Colonel Thileepan, The name board of the pre-school was unveiled by Mr.E.Jegas of the TRO Secretariat.

Mr. Vincent, Administrative Director of the TRO Secretariat declared open the new building of the pre-school. Sinnaadamaban Village level officer Mr. Gopal presided. Mr. Gnanavel and Mr.Ganeshavel delivered keynote addresses. Mr.Tharmarajah, President of the Rural Development Society proposed vote of thanks.
