Solheim addresses LTTE meeting in Geneva

Norwegian special peace envoy Mr. Erik Solheim Sunday addressed the LTTE Constitutional Affairs Committee meeting in Geneva during its third day sessions, sources in Geneva said.
 Participating in the third day sessions were the members of the NorthEast Secretariat on Human Rights (NESHOR) which included Father Karunaratnam and parliamentarians Joseph Pararajasingham and Gajendrakumar Ponnambalam who arrived in Geneva Saturday evening. "...Erik Solheim addressing the gathering expressed his sense of appreciation for the commitment the Tamil Diaspora has exhibited in taking forward the peace process. He emphasized the need to restart the peace process early and reiterated the necessity to hold the Cease Fire Agreement intact," LTTE's peace secretariat website said of Mr.Solheims's address.
