Two bodies retrieved after 19 days

The bodies a mother and her daughter were retrieved from debris on Saturday in Manatkadu village, which is located in the government controlled coastal areas of Jaffna district, civil sources said.
Volunteers who clearing debris found the bodies under a collapsed building, the sources said. The highly decomposed bodies were identified as of Ms Francis Sathiyaseelan Anne Kubera (28) and her daughter Anoja (9) by neighbours, the sources said. The bodies of her husband Sathiyaseelan and another five-year-old daughter, Mary Stella, were recovered and buried soon after the Tsunami disaster, according to the sources. Volunteers engaged in clearing debris have now stepped up its searching operation for persons still reported missing since December 26, the sources said.
