Another telecom exchange blasted

A bomb explosion around 7 a.m, this morning damaged Sri Lanka Telecom exchange in Kuliyapiti, north of Colombo. Adjoining Mobitel building was also damaged in the blast. Bomb is believed to have placed in an air conditioner.
Ten days ago, a similar bomb exploded at the telecommunication exchange in Kalutara, 43 kilometers south of Colombo. The police say they believe there is connection between these explosion, as both had been carried out in a similar way. The same Police team is investigating both blasts, said police sources. One Tamil engineer and a Singhala engineer (married to a tamil woman) were arrested on suspicion in connection with the Kalutura explosion. However, both were released last evening said sources.
