Grenade attack on a house in Eravur leaves one wounded

Mr Mahadevan Ratnasigamany, 29, was seriously wounded when unidentified persons lobbed a grenade into his residence at Sithandy in Eravur. The attack took place around 9.30 PM Sunday night, Police said.

Mr Mahadevan is admitted to Batticaloa Hospital.

Eravur Police is conducting investigations into the attack on the house located in Murugan Kovil Road at Sithandy.
