Ilamparithi meets with SLMM after Kilinochchi visit

Mr.C.Ilamparithi, LTTE Jaffna district political head, Friday returned to Jaffna after consultation with LTTE leadership in Killinochchi. The LTTE leadership invited him for a discussion on the current political and ground situation of the northeast province, sources said.

Mr.Ilamparithi met with Ms Anna Valve, Jaffna head of the Sri Lanka Monitoring Mission (SLMM), soon after he returned to Jaffna this morning.

The discussion was held at the office Jaffna office of the SLMM located at Kovil Road, Nallur, sources said.

Mr.T. Kannan, Jaffna district deputy political head and Mr.E.Imayavan, Media Co-ordinator also participated in the discussion, which focussed on the current situation in the peninsula, sources said.
