SLA soldiers attacked in Mirusuvil

Three soldiers of the Sri Lanka Army sustained injuries when the vehicle in which they were taking meals to fellow soldiers stationed in the area came under attack after being waylaid by unidentified persons Sunday night around 9 p.m. at Mirusuvil in Thenmaradchchi divisions in Jaffna district, police sources said.

The attackers fled from the scene, Kodikamam police said.

Two soldiers sustained minor injuries and the third was admitted to the Palaly military hospital in a critical condition, security sources said.

Kodikamam Police is conducting investigations into the incident, security sources said.
