Balasingham leaves for UK

LTTE's Chief Negotiator and Political Strategist Mr. Anton Balasingham, left Kilinochchi Saturday at 9:30 a.m. to Katunayake in a Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) helicopter, facilitated by Sri Lanka Monitoring Mission (SLMM) officials.

Senior LTTE Commanders Col. Theepan, Col. Jeyam, Col. Soosai, Col. Yalini and Col. Thurka and the Political Head of the Tigers, Mr. S.P. Thamilchelvan, Head of Tamileelam Police Mr B. Nadesan, Head of LTTE's Financial Division Mr. Thamilenthi, Senior LTTE member Mr. K. V. Balakumaran, Head of Tamileelam Judiciary Mr. E. Pararajasingham (Para), Head of Tamileelam Education Board Mr. V. Ilankumaran gave Mr. Balasingham a send-off at the Kilnochchi public grounds

Mr. Anton Balasingham and Mrs Adele Balasingham left Sri Lanka's Katunayake International Airport in Colombo to London Saturday around 2:00 p.m., sources in Colombo said.
