Female body found in Akkaraipattu

The dead body of a woman 30 to 35 years of age, suspected as that of a Muslim woman, was found on Oluvil beach in Akkaraipattu Batticaloa Tuesday around 5.30 p.m by local residents, said Akkaripattu police.

Akkaraipattu Police are conducting investigations into the incident.

The dead body, yet to be identified, is now lying at the Akkaripattu hospital morgue.
