Decapitated bodies found in Vavuniya

The bodies of two villagers with their heads severed and with gunshot injuries were found in the jungles west of Veerakulam in the Vavuniya district Tuesday evening, said source.

They have been identified as Manikam Kunararasa, 23 and Laxshmanan Yogarasa, 21.

Both from Kanthaaran Kulam in Cheddikulm, southwest of Vavuniya, had gone into the jungle to chop firewood, but had not returned, the sources added.
