Mother of seven wounded in crossfire

A mother of seven was injured being caught in the exchange of fire between paramilitary and Tiger cadres at Chunkankerny, Valaichenai, Sunday night around 8:00 pm, Police said.



Mrs. Adaikalam Thangapillai, 51, the mother of seven, was first rushed to Valaichenai hospital and later transferred to Batticaloa Teaching hospital, according to the Police.
