Four commuters arrested in Trinco-Colombo train

Four civilian commuters traveling in Trincomalee bound Colombo train were taken into custody Sunday during a search operation conducted by the Sri Lanka security forces in the train, sources from Trincomalee said.

Police said that the suspects were in possession of documents for about 90 vehicles.

After preliminary investigation, the suspects were handed over to Trincomalee police for further action, police sources said.

The ethnicity of the suspects is not revealed.
