SL Government troops conduct search operation in Kuchchaveli

Sri Lanka government security forces Monday morning launched combined cordon and search operation covering fishing hamlets, Kallaruwa, Pudavaikattu, Pulmoddai and other coastal areas of Kuchchaveli divisional secretariat division north of Trincomalee town, sources said.

Meanwhile, military sources in Colombo claimed that they had destroyed one of the two LTTE boats sailing towards Pulmoddai from Mullaitivu Monday early morning.

Other boat was taken into custody, according to the same sources.
