Four unidentified bodies recovered in South

The police recovered bodies of four unidentified persons in the south of Sri Lanka Saturday. Two bodies were recovered at Wellawaya in Sabragamuwa province, one body at Walakande in Matale division in the central province and the fourth at Madawachchi in north central province, sources said.

The body recovered at Walakande was found with severe head and body injuries caused by very sharp instruments. Other three bodies were found with gunshot injuries.

Police handed over the bodies to government hospitals in respective area for identification and post-mortem examination, sources said.
