Two civilians abducted in Ki'n'niyaa

Two civilians were abducted by a group of armed men Thursday early morning around 2.30 a.m. at Faizal Nakar, a Muslim settlement in Ki'n'niyaa division in Trincomalee district, according to complaints received by the Ki'n'niyaa police.

Ki'n'niyaa Police began investigation into the abduction following complaints by relatives of the victims.

Meanwhile, army and police conducted cordon and search operations in several parts of Ki'n'niyaa division.
