SLAF Kfir crashlands after anti aircraft fire - LTTE

A Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) Kfir bomber was damaged in Liberation Tigers anti-aircraft cannon fire over Vavuniyaa Forward Defence Line (FDL) around 3:30 p.m. Thursday. LTTE's Military Spokesman Irasiah Ilanthirayan said that the bomber was damaged in the cannon fire by the Tigers and parts of the damaged aircraft fell inside the Tiger territory. The SLAF aircraft crashlanded into the SLA territory. Meanwhile, Sri Lanka Air Force officials in Colombo said all their aircrafts were safe.
