Youth shot, seriously injured in Jaffna

Unknown gunmen shot and seriously injured a 30-year old man while walking along KKS Road in Jaffna town near an autostand at 12:15 p.m. Monday, sources in Jaffna said. The gunmen sprayed bullets at the victim and escaped the site.

Sinnarajah Vijayasingham from 6th district in Vealanai in Jaffna islets.

He has been admitted to the intensive care unit of Jaffna Teaching Hospital, medical sources said.
