Bombing victim's sister commits suicide

Sambasivam Arulmoly (26), a displaced refugee from Thellipalai in Jaffna, who had sought refuge in Puthukudiyeruppu in the Vanni region, committed suicide on Sunday after the funeral of her brother, Sambasivam Arudchelvan (25), who was killed in Sri Lankan Air Force bombing.

The brother, Sambasivam Arudchelvan, was killed on Friday at Kokkavil, in Kfir jet bombing while he was riding a motor cycle with an elderly woman, Raasu Letchumi (75).

Sources said she committed suicide by consuming poison, over the sorrow of her brothers tragic death, soon after the funeral on Sunday 15 November. She died while being rushed to Puthukudiyeruppu hospital.
