Two other members of the family, Amirthanathan Amirtharani,35, and Amirthanathan Theepan,4, were wounded in the firing and have been admitted to the Jaffna hospital. A group of SLA soldiers had come to the house of Gnanaprakasam Innasimuththu, 62, near the 'Kanmani Maatha' church (Catholic) last night and had asked him to come out. The soldiers, according to sources, had ordered the others in the house to move into a room when lamp in the house was knocked out. Then there was firing in which the two children were killed the sources added. Meanwhile the Sri Lankan Police sources said three soldiers allegedly involved in the shooting incident have been arrested and remanded at Chavakachcheri. They said arrangements are underway to take the suspects to Colombo, to be produced in a court where legal action can be initiated.
