Parents fear for missing Tamil youth

Pathmanathan Sri Kumaran, 22, of Thinnevely in Jaffna has been reported missing since last evening.

The boy had left home in his bicycle around 5.30 p.m. yesterday to see a friend in Nallur.He went missing on his way back to Thinnevely from Nallur.

His family, displaced from Karainagar many years ago, has made inquiries at all the army camps and checkpoints that are on the way.

The army has said that the boy was not arrested by them.

But Sri Kumaran's family says that something could be amiss as it was dusk when the boy had set out from Nallur to cycle back home.
