Pamphlets with Tiger emblem were printed in Colombo and brought to Batticaloa Tuesday and Wednesday. UNP general secretary Tissa Attanayake confirmed this to the media, party sources said.
He added that his party has received information that such airdrops of pamphlets are to take place Thursday after the conclusion of election propaganda from Wednesday midnight. The matter has been brought to the notice of the Commissioner of Elections for necessary action.
