SLA begins 4th recruitment drive

Fourth recruitment drive since January, 2008, in Government controlled areas will continue till December 31 this year, according to media sources. The main aim of the recruitment is to fill current vacancies in permanent and volunteer forces in the SLA due to prevailing war.

Grade 8 education for Permanent cadre positions of SLA, and Grade 5 for volunteer force, and ages between 18-24 were listed as requirement requirements for selection, the announcements said.

The monthly salary was advertised as ernational level, according to the announcement. The recruits, after training, would be qualified to serve in peace keeping force abroad.

Aspirants are requested to avail themselves for interviews in the nearest army camp with NIC, birth certificates, school certificates, Village Officer (GS) certificate counter-signed by Divisional Secretary, police certificate, two character certificates and sport certificates (if available), further stated in the press release.
