Blasts injure two

Two civilians were injured by booby traps yesterday (January 30), while they clearing their plots in Jeyanthinagar, near a Hindu temple in the Kilinochchi district, sources in the Vanni said today.

S.Pancras (37) of Konavil sustained facial injuries, while S.Sivalingam of Kanagapuram was wounded on his face and hands. Sources said both have been admitted to Kanagarayankulam hospital for treatment.
