Members electing UNP leadership is revolution, says Sajith Premadasa

Sajith Premadasa, the son of late Sri Lankan president Ranasinghe Premadasa, has characterised the decision by the reform committee of the UNP to elect key leadership positions of the party through elections within the party as a revolutionary step.

At a discussion held in Hambantota on Wednesday, Mr. Premadasa vowed to bring back the UNP leadership to Hambantota.

"I do not want go behind positions and posts but want to serve the common people like my late father Ranasinghe Premadasa," he claimed.
