UNP to hold annual convention on December 12

The annual convention of the main opposition United National Party (UNP) will be held on December 12. The decision to the effect was taken at the UNP Working Committee meeting which was held Sunday, according to party General Secretary Tissa Attanayake. The new party constitution was unanimously approved by the Working Committee and the report compiled by the Working Committee on the new constitution will be presented at the Annual Convention, Attanayake said.

All party reforms and reconstruction will be made at the convention., Attanayake added.
