Over thousand typhoid cases last month - Radio

The out patients department of the Akkarayan hospital had treated 21,500 patients last month said the Voice of Tigers today.

Of these 1260 were diagnosed for typhoid, 5119 for various fevers and 2208 for malaria.

Thirty three people bitten by rabid dogs had been treated there.

Seventy four people who were admitted died said the Radio.
