Mannar PLOTE organiser killed

The District organiser of the PLOTE in Mannar and the private secretary to the group's leader, Antony Mariathas, 34, alias David was shot dead by unidentified gunmen around 8.15 p.m. today sources said.

'David' was shot dead at the entrance of his house while he was returning from the PLOTE office in Mannar.

PLOTE sources blamed the LTTE for the killing.
