More Lion Air flights to Jaffna

The private airline, Lion Air, which carries MoD approved civilians to and from Jaffna will increase the number of it's flights to the northern city, said sources in Jaffna today.

The Lion Air normally has three flights to and from Jaffna. This will be increased to five.

Sources said that flights have been increased in view of the number of candidates and others who are flying in to Jaffna in connection with filing of nominations for the local Government elections in Jaffna.
