A teenage boy was admitted to Manthikai hospital, Point Pedro with bleeding from his genitals as a result of injuries sustained when he was molested by two persons whom the boy alleged were Sri Lanka Army soldiers from a camp in his village Kudaththanai, Jaffna.
Theivendran Naguleswaran (16) was bleeding from his penis, hospital sources said. According to the youth, two persons accosted him Friday morning and took him to the shrub jungle by Kudaththanai village when he had gone there to answer a call of nature. The two persons who spoke Sinhalese had asked the boy whether there were any other people who had come in to the shrub jungle for the same purpose. Naguleswaran had replied in negative. Thereafter two men had manhandled the boy. Then they had molested him severely, the hospital sources said. Meanwhile sources in Kudaththanai also alleged the two attackers were SLA soldiers from the local camp.
