Over quarter of a million treated at Mullaitivu

The Mullaithivu hospital treated 262263 people in 1997 said sources in the Vanni. Of these 336 died. The largest number of cases was admitted during the months of November and December they said.

Ninety seven patients died of Malaria, eighty nine of Septicemia and 31 of diarrhoea.
