When the case was taken up for further inquiry Monday at the Teledeniya Magistrate's court all the suspects were produced under heavy security from Kandy Bogambara
prisons. Mr Achchala Vengapuli, State Counsel who appeared for the prosecution with Criminal Investigation Department officials told the court that there were no evidence against twenty one suspects including nineteen soldiers and two civilians and moved for the discharge of the same. He moved further remand for General Ratwatte, his sons Lohan and Chanuka and other fifteen suspects.
