East development review before Sub-Committee meet

Three Tamil Parliamentarians and political officials of the Liberation
Tigers Of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) from the eastern province are meeting
in Kilinochchi Saturday to review development needs of the eastern
districts in preparation for the forthcoming meeting of the
Sub-Committee for Rehabilitation and Resettlement scheduled for
Monday, 18 November, sources said.
Member of Parliament Ampara district Chandra Nehru,
Member of Parliament Trincomalee district K. Thurairetnasingam,
LTTE head of political
division Batticaloa-Ampara division Kausalyan, LTTE head of political
section Trincomalee district Tilak, Attorney at Law and member
of the Sri Lanka Monitoring Mission (SLMM) K. Sivapalan and
Batticaloa Member of Parliament Joseph Pararajasingam have been
invited to attend, sources close to the LTTE said. Mr. Pararajasingam is expected to travel to Kilinochchi
tomorrow with Murali, Treasurer of Tamil National Alliance,
Vavuniya branch. All others are already in Kilinochchi, sources
said.
