Sri Lanka's PM briefs Chandrika on peace talks

Sri Lanka’s Prime Minister, Mr.Ranil Wickremasinghe Tuesday briefed President Ms Chandrika Kumaratunge about the progress of the fourth round peace talks held in Thailand. Minister Mr.Milinda Morogoda associated with the Prime Minister in the talks, government sources said.
People’s Alliance national list parliamentarian and Former foreign minister, Mr.Lakshman Kadirgamar also participated at the talks, the sources said. President Ms Chandrika Kumaratunge and Prime Minister Mr.Ranil Wickremasinghe Monday at another conference discussed the question of allocating funds to provincial councils. Ministers Milinda Morogoda and K.N.Choksy were present at the discussion, Presidential secretariat sources said. The discussion also centred on the education reforms, the sources said.
