LTTE says Kilinochchi assault continues

The Voice of Tigers (VOT) said in their night broadcast today that the attack on Kilinochchi continues. The Tigers, according to the VOT, had launched a heavy artillery barrage on the Kilinochchi-Paranthan base.
The Government has sustained heavy damages. As the attack on this day continues no further details were available said the VOT.
It also said that the Sri Lankan airforce continues to bomb civilian areas in the Vanni in retaliation.
Mankulam was shelled and bombed.
The VOT said that 26 Tigers have been killed thus far in the fighting in Kilinochchi.
