Thamilselvan visits Batticaloa

The head of the political wing of the LTTE, Mr. S.P. Thamilselvan, arrived at the Illupadichenai school grounds in Batticaloa by a Sri Lankan Air Force helicopter Sunday morning, sources said.

The LTTE’s senior commander for Batticaloa-Ampara, Col. Karuna, and other commanders welcomed Mr. Thamilselvan on his arrival. He will declare open the Anparasy Memorial at the 'Meenaham' grounds and will speak at the memorial event, sources said.
