HRC assistance sought to locate missing boy

A complaint has been lodged at the Jaffna regional office of the Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka Thursday that a thirteen-year-old boy, Thevasagayam Jesuthas, had mysteriously disappeared when staying with his relatives at Alvai in Vadamarachchi division in the Jaffna district, human rights sources said.
The boy, a native of Trincomalee, had gone to Jaffna in the early part of August and stayed at his relative’s house, which is located at Maviliyady area in Alvai. On 6th August he is reported to have mysteriously disappeared while playing in the garden of the house where he was staying, parents said in their complaint. Parents have sought the assistance of the HRC officials to locate the disappeared boy, sources said.
