Polish TRO donates school supplies to Batticaloa children

Director of Tamil Rehabilitation Organization (TRO) of Poland, M.Pulendran, who is on a fact finding visit to Batticaloa district, presented parcels containing school supplies to children living in Children Homes run by the TRO, in a meeting held Thursday, sources said.

Batticalo Head of the TRO, S.Thevarajan, presided the meeting held at the Batticaloa office of the TRO. Batticaloa Children Welfare officer, Ms.Gnanasundary, aslo participated in the meeting.

Pulendran said that he will be visiting Refugee centers and other Old peoples' homes and will be reporting the needs of the war affected in Batticaloa to Tamil diaspora in Poland who provide support to the relief activities of TRO.
