Balasingham's book to be released in Jaffna

"Viduthalai (Liberation)," a collection of articles authored by the theoretician and political strategist of the Liberation Tigers, Mr.Anton Balasingham, is to be released at an event scheduled to be held on May 16 at the Jaffna University Kailasapathy Auditorium, sources said.

Jaffna district political head of the LTTE, Mr.C.Ilamparuthi, will preside over the event and Mr.S.Thangan, Deputy Political Head of the LTTE, will release the first copy of the book to the Vice Chancellor of Jaffna University, Professor C.Mohanadas, sources said.

Poet Puthuvai Ratnathurai, head of the LTTE Arts and Cultural Division, will deliver the release address and senior leader of the LTTE, Mr.V.Balakumaran, will deliver the keynote address, sources said

Professor S.Krishnarajah of Jaffna University and a critic , Mr.A.Jesurajah, Editor of "Therithal" magazine, will make appreciation addresses, sources said.

"Viduthalai" will include all articles published in the LTTE official organ by Mr.Anton Balasingham and some new articles authored by him later, sources said.
